Qualifications
- Must possess a High School diploma and/ or GED
- Should have prior automotive experience, demonstrate parts knowledge and have diagnostic ability to include: internal engines, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust and all other related automobile systems.
- Must be well mannered, neat in appearance and posses the ability to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner.
- This position is designed to allow a person with extensive automotive back ground to demonstrate their leadership skills by operating the Commercial Delivery program.
- Must submit to pre-employment drug testing (November 1, 1994) in accordance with the appropriate state provisions.
Major Responsibilities
- Must complete all required training manuals/ materials.
- Must attend all scheduled/ required Company meetings.
- Must be familiar with all categories of merchandise, core policy, warranties, and Company services offered.
- Should effectively suggest related merchandise.
- Must consistently assist customers in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner.
- Must meet or exceed all assigned sales goals or quotas.
- Responsible for the inventory management involved with the Commercial Delivery Program: insuring that the commercial accounts needs are met without depleting the store stock.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safe operation of all Commercial delivery vehicles and that said vehicles are used for Company business only.
- Must insure that the daily operations of the Commercial program follow Company policy and guidelines.
- Must insure that all accounts are handled properly and professionally and that all accounts are bonafide buisness’s.
- Must properly complete and submit all reports as required.
- Must maintain appearance of Commercial Delivery area.
- Train and develop Commercial Delivery Drivers to assure that the program is operated according to Company policy.
- Must set a professional example in the operation and insist on good service, good business practices, safe equipment handling and quick delivery.
- Must perform outside commercial account visits.
