Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work cross-functionally with creative, marketing campaign managers, and email technical manager to develop and implement strategic marketing plans across several business units, including both B2B and B2C
  • Execute the day-to-day email operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of our email campaigns
  • Complete technical production and deployment activities including but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns inside Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Create dynamic email templates through the use of Ampscript in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates and other aspects of email execution, as required
  • Implement A/B and multivariate testing on emails and content to continually maximize performance and engagement
  • Monitor campaigns post-deployment to validate completion and deliverability; including IP address health, bounce rate, and spam reports
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize personalized marketing automations and lead nurturing journeys that incorporate behavioral data and engagement activity to engage customers and drive revenue
  • Develop and maintain campaign performance reports, tracking and analysis of program
  • Enforce marketing automation and retention best practices
  • Assist in the evaluation of new functionality and automation tools for feasibility and impact to the business
  • Responsible for marketing automation Quality Assurance from design rendering to email functionality and lifecycle program functionality
  • QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in email marketing related role
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Technical expertise with AMPscript for coding dynamic emails
  • Basic SQL skills strongly preferred
  • Understand and deliver business and marketing metrics and KPI’s
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation processes including campaign/ journey execution, A/B testing for optimization and measurement.
  • Expert knowledge and ability to train others to leverage the automation platform
  • Proven ability to be proactive and take responsibility for tasks and work assigned as well as attention to detail to ensure quality of work without compromising speed in execution
  • Multitask multiple projects with flexibility to shift priorities based on deadlines.
  • Good communication skills necessary to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
