Job Description

Team member will be an integral support person for the Digital Asset team. They will act as a liaison for cross-functional teams to support digital asset coverage for both B2B & B2C sales channels. Responsible for overall strategy, implementation, and workflow of DAM system for AAP.  TM should enjoy a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to multi-task while delivering a successful outcome .  Must demonstrate consistent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, time management and the ability to work effectively within a team. 

Job Duties

  • 30% Team member will communicate asset issues, discrepancies and acquisitions with our vendors to the point of resolution & publication to sales channels
  • 30% Approve & monitor newly submitted images, metadata and other digital asset workflows
  • 20% Perform visual asset audits to identify necessary edits, resizing, any non-compliant images via Photoshop
  • 10% Assist with business-critical projects in effort to increase image accuracy and coverage
  • 5% Assisting with creating and updating documentation of best practices of digital asset management
  • 5% Other tasks as assigned by the Content team manager

Other Responsibilities

  • Generate asset reports and distribute to appropriate parties on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate with internal merchandising teams to execute change management projects

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must have the ability to communicate promptly, professionally, clearly in person and via written correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
  • Programming, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) experience preferred
  • Experience with digital asset management preferred
  • Experience in automotive industry preferred
  • 1-2 years relevant experience

Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency with Excel and Access
  • Computer savvy and strong ability to learn internal management systems
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Adobe Photoshop experience preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with data analysis and project management
