Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associates degree or related work experience preferred
  • Automotive Aftermarket Experience in a sales or product management capacity
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access; knowledge of JD Edwards software is a plus. Proficient with word processing, databases, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, independent thinking, and a high level of initiative are a necessity
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to lead problem resolution sessions with internal customers and suppliers
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors/service providers, including the ability to develop strategies and tactics, influence decisions, and assess/evaluate proposals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of an organization; ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of Company and organizational policies, procedures, and practices as well as materials purchased, and local, state, federal laws and regulations
