Job Description

  • Assist New Account Supervisor with all new account processes
  • Credit buddy – collaborate with approx. 20 AI stores assigned to resolve issues, increasing credit limits, assisting with delinquent accounts, non-sufficient funds checks, etc.  Assists any AI stores as needed but these stores are assigned so they have a direct credit contact.
  • Review new charge account applications, for both AI store accounts and Global sales division accounts - obtain trade & bank references, run credit reports to gather all information for credit supervisor to approve credit limits, set up accounts in JD Edwards system
  • Run templates & file all weekly /charge applications in Docstar system
  • Check all tax certificates, both weekly and charge accounts for validity according to state guidelines and notify AI stores & customers with any issues
  • Increase /decrease credit limits based on company guidelines
  • Manage customer inquiries regarding invoices and account activity, payments, etc.
  • Run credit cards for assigned customers
  • Complete trade references requested by other companies
  • Assist customers in setting up an account on our online system Billtrust, so they can view/print invoices, pay online
  • Assist credit supervisor with tax audits as needed
  • Assist credit supervisor with Certegy (check verification machines) for our stores.
  • Monitor Monro Muffler strategic accounts for payments (approx. 140 accounts) contacting stores for purchase orders, sending to Monro accounts payable to ensure payment
  • Processes refunds – in JDE system, sending requests to accounts payable
  • Monitor AS400 orders on hold every morning for first hour or so, to help Worldpac credit dept. since we are on East Coast time
  • Learning AS400 system 
  • Support AI stores on Saturday when assigned
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
