SUMMARY

The Customer Engagement Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of development and implementation of assigned projects, and support the sales team in developing continued enhancements to the sales tools that will enhance our sales strategy focused at growing sales and exceeding operating profit targets.  The key responsibilities for this role are managing cross functional projects related to deploying tools and technology to the sales team, managing project progress, developing training materials around our key processes (sales process, territory planning, and operations partnerships), salesforce.com, developing project plans, and some process documents. This person must develop and maintain effective, productive relationships with Team Members in the field and at the SSC, in order to deliver successful projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinate the activities of a project team, identify appropriate resources needed, develop schedules and ensure timely completion of the assigned project

Develop and manage project plans and coordinate the project teams to deliver the project’s success.  

Partner with the Commercial Sales team, marketing, technology and merchandising to develop playbooks and sales tools to support Commercial Sales Organization in their approach to grow wallet share

Work cross functionally to develop communication plans that integrate and drive change management around the tools and process

Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices as defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Excellent problem solving ability

Excellent communication skills

Proven sales record and complete understanding of sales process, territory planning, operations partnerships, salesforce.com and category reporting

Proven experience handling multiple assignments and using strong prioritization skills, ability to work in high-expectation situations providing leadership and collaboration to deliver solutions.

Must possess strategic thinking abilities

Ability to facilitate training sessions

Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Computer proficiency required:  Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Salesforce.com, OneNote, and PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio

Occasional traveling, including overnight travel, may be required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree required, 5-8 years of sales or marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Possess a valid driver license and meet the company’s MVR requirements.
