This individual will be responsible for maintaining the receipt and entry of vendor invoices into the purchasing system. This process will entail the auditing, payment and ultimate creation of the receiving documentation for the distribution center(s). Frequent communication with the suppliers may be required to assure compliance with WORLDPAC shipping and documentation requirements. The associate will be responsible for periodic analysis reports to assure goods are shipped timely.
While other duties may be assigned, the ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Monitors and distributes faxes daily.
• Reviews supplier invoices for accuracy.
• Enters invoice details into AS400.
• Processes invoices for payment, verifying proper payment terms are adhered to.
• Creates shipments for receiving.
• Corresponds with vendors regularly to assure compliance with WORLPAC needs.
• Monitors invoices from vendors to assure that goods arrive with a reasonable time frame.
• Assists associates in other areas of department when needed.
• Uses analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient w/data entry including speed and accuracy.
• Remains goal oriented and a continual drive to succeed.
• Achieves assigned performance goals and objectives as set by management.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Multitasking capability.
• Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The regular workweek is forty hours. Associate must be available to work mandatory overtime and Saturdays.

• High School - Some college a plus
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skill
• Proficient with software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, database and email.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation policies, procedures and work instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with associates, customers and vendors of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule forms.

• The associate frequently is required to reach with hands and arms
• The associate is frequently required to sit and occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel and crouch.

• The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading vision for computer monitor and hard copy print.
