Job Description

The GSD (Global sales Division) Sales Coordinator’s primary function is to provide operational support to the sales process and customer service relationship. The coordinator will work directly with E-Commerce accounts in a team setting and provide levels of customer service that favorably impact the AI scorecard with the customer

Position Responsibilities:

Customer Service – ensure clients receive exceptional service as it pertains to the following:

  • Manage all aspects of the E-commerce order process and online sales order process
  • Provide general communication with GSD E-Commerce customers via fax or email regarding customer account
  • Work collaboratively with the fulfillment team to resolve issues that may occur – missing shipment information, order tracking, etc
  • Trouble-shoot order issues as they arise in expedient and professional manner i.e. missing tracking numbers, RMA’s for product returns, miss-marked merchandise, shipment issues, etc.
  • Process product returns for all E-Commerce accounts

Sales Support - contribute to the achievement of department sales goals which may include:

  • Providing overflow phone support for incoming customer calls
  • Taking customer orders, quoting pricing and tracking customer shipments.
  • Reporting shortages and credits to appropriate internal departments
  • Assisting sales reps with outgoing calls i.e. lead qualification & customer support
  • Coordinating the sales pods daily accounts and provides support in the absence of the client representative
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience Desired:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred, not required
  • Auto part Industry and JDE preferred but not required
  • Ability to work well with a diverse clientele
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Access is helpful)
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new computer systems
