Advance Auto Business Support LLC is seeking a Financial Systems Manager in its Raleigh, NC location.

Job Description: Work as a Finance Analytics and Technology Manager and will lead a team of tech savvy professionals with backgrounds across business intelligence, data science, advanced mathematics, and financial systems.  The team is chartered at supporting the total company’s financial analytics capability.  The leader of this team will be responsible for both directly serving the executive/finance leadership team as well as building out the advanced analytics capability to enable and support the broader finance organization.  The successful candidate will be multi-disciplined with an advanced logical/scientific/mathematical mindset and a background in leveraging technologies to achieve abnormally superior results.  This roles focus will be on developing a robust digital platform for monitoring the financials as well as key supporting operational KPIs.  Where deviation (to the better or worse) from the expected performance occurs, this team will be responsible for identifying the underlying drivers impacting performance and helping the business leaders to optimize outcomes of the financials/KPIs being monitored.  Will be responsible for the following: Development of a robust digital platform for monitoring of financial results and key supporting KPIs using tools such as, but not limited to, power BI or Tableau or Excel Reporting; Partnering with the finance leadership to establish the framework for how we will monitor the financial performance of the company; Partnering with the broader finance organization to leverage the existing knowledgebase to work as a business advisor for teams within finance organization; Performing deep and complex analysis to discover underlying business drivers and how to leverage those insights to optimize and impact outcomes; utilize the finance knowledgebase to understand trends and pattern in operational data and leverage it to develop forward looking models/reports for providing guidance to the finance organization; Mentoring, coaching, and inspiring the Enterprise Financial Analytics analysts on the team on various tool, technologies, and financial concepts utilized in day to day operations; Creation of daily, weekly, and monthly informational and/or formal presentations and/or flashes to deliver analysis and findings to leadership and business teams; Partner with the leadership team and the broader finance/business community to stay abreast of current business concerns, potential opportunities, and information needs; Maintain knowledge and stays current of developments in the fields of technology, business intelligence, data warehousing, data science, and emerging technologies (machine learning, AI, etc); Contribute to the broader financial/Enterprise tools roadmap in partnership with Finance/IT leadership; Attention to quality, reconciliation, and accuracy are critical as the audience is often executive level staff and the decisions being made are significant in scope/impact; Creativity and vision to recommend ways to evolve our infrastructure, process, and analytic capabilities; and a genuine interest in helping direct and indirect staff learn, develop, and accomplish significant achievements.  Direct supervision of a staff of 3 Analyst or Sr. Analysts.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, Information System, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related technical or financial degree, plus six (6) years of experience in a related role.  Requires experience in the following: six (6) years of experience to extract and integrate data, leverage technologies such as, but not limited to, SQL Server and/or MS Access and/or Microsoft Azure Data Lake and/or AWS Cloud services, etc; six (6) years of experience to pull data from adhoc sources, such as, but not limited to, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects, or PBCS; four (4) years of experience using one or more of the following tools: SPSS Statistics, SAS VA, Azure Machine Learning, or JMP for data analytics; four (4) years of experience to develop and automate reporting and analysis, as well as operational process using technologies Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or Excel reporting; four (4) years of experience with open source tools like R, Python, Pyspark, or Json, etc for data analytics; six (6) years of experience to define problems, gather requirements, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and cross-functional communication; six (6) years of experience to present information and respond to questions from groups, such as senior management, department heads, or Finance/IT/Business teams.  Experience may be gained concurrently.
