Job Description

Responsible for team sales target goals and daily support of sales team.  Partners with leadership on sales strategy planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs specific to assigned sales territories.  Administers both short and long-range sales strategies targeted towards existing and future markets.  Engages both future and active customer account base as well as sales staff to increasing sales and market share. Supports all facets of sales.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned: 

  • Works closely with peers and leadership, formulating short and long-term sales plans to increase sales 
  • Supports market opportunities, current products and new products through the implementation of departmental and organizational objectives 
  • Conducts supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws 
  • Implements the strategic sales plan, consistently generates reports and provides account documentation through SalesForce 
  • Develops relationships throughout the client network and with other departments to achieve goals 
  • Trains and motivates a sales team to achieve business objectives 
  • Assists with critical actions for the assigned territory, including collection of delinquent accounts receivables
  • Plan and implement workforce functions for sales team scheduling and approve time off for team members 
  • Ensures a high level of customer support is maintained by monitoring phone activities and Sales Force customer information. 
  • Works closely with operations team to ensure seamless transition of customer experience from sales to service. 
  • Monitors and measure customer account performance. 
  • Identifies and evaluates sales and operational opportunities within assigned territories, developing alternative strategies for success 


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a sales team 
  • Effective negotiation skills 
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Windows 
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations on how to use/apply data to current conditions 
  • Ability to organize, schedule, facilitate and lead meetings 
  • Ability to speak in front of a group  


  • 7 - 10 Years of experience required 
  • Associates Degree, or equivalent experience; degree in sales, marketing or business management preferred 
  • Progressive sales management experience 
  • Five years or more sales experience 
  • Two years or more supervisory experience 
  • Teambuilding and Training experience 
  • Call Center experience and knowledge of systems utilized within that structure (CRM, CTI, etc.) 
  • SalesForce experience a plus
