 Workday Security and Data Audit Administrator

This role is responsible for managing the security for the AAP global Workday platform and aligning with the Information Security team to ensure all policies for data protection are applied properly.  Creating and maintaining security groups across the platform, while managing access requests and providing support for AAP Team Members.  Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards to MDM to ensure data integrity for key data elements in collaboration with our HR Operations team.  And, conducting regular data audits, working closely with business partners to improve the data quality within Workday and the downstream systems.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage all Workday platform security elements, including participation in new projects for designing the most efficient solutions
  • Managing Workday Security Matrix
  • Collaborate with both technology and business teams to identify priorities and security capability requirements, and incorporate these requirements into the security strategy
  • SOX control – Partner with IT Security to design and write up SOX risk assessments.  Perform assessments at the accepted interval
  • Process Improvement – Proactive, continuous improvements of security processes
  • Participate in HR Solutions Group stand ups and all related activities
  • Conduct security reviews in coordination with Information Security and Internal Audit
  • Execute and Respond to all audit reviews in support of compliance goals
  • Facilitate remediation/mitigation efforts as identified by internal reviews and 3rd party assessments
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert to assist peer teams in understanding identified security risks and consulting on best practices for remediation
  • Build and maintain a knowledgebase of best practices for managing security for the Workday platform
  • Serve as a key team member in incident response engagements
  • Provide thought leadership in improving assessment processes
  • Participate in project deployments, assist in testing and ensure security is properly applied
  • This role will need to have project management, vendor and leadership skills; to identify, select and lead project teams, external vendors, and contingent workers

Qualifications and Experience:

  •               5-8 years Workday Security admin experience
  •               Workday Security Admin certification preferred
  •               Works well in a collaborative team environment
  •               Solid analytical skills to identify problem areas and opportunities for remediation
  •               Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  •               Confidence and ability to project an authoritative presence
  •               Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
