As a Marketing Analyst at Advance Auto Parts, you will have an opportunity to disrupt a $150B auto parts industry to bring better and faster solutions to customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Execute data driven business and analytics strategy across diverse channels such as Web/eCommerce, SEM, Email, and Loyalty/CRM to drive measurable benefit to the enterprise and better serve our customers
  • Work with the latest tools, libraries, platforms and languages to explore billions of customer records and external data for relationships and actionable insights
  • Scope data-driven project opportunities to self-disrupt and change the way we work, creating massive business and customer value in the process
  • Work cross-functionally, both internally and with analytic vendors, to design market-, store-, and/or customer- level tests to measure the incremental impact of marketing leading to rigorous, meaningful, and actionable insights.
  • Support ad-hoc analytic needs as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in web or marketing analytics
  • Ability to remain current on new and emerging marketing analytics technologies
  • Ability to challenge traditional ways of operating, working with stakeholders to improve the status quo
  • Experience with SQL and common marketing and eCommerce tools such as Google Analytics, and Sales Force Marketing Cloud.  
  • Programming experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical techniques a bonus.
  • Knowledge of consumer or B2B businesses
  • Experience with tag management solution such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math) or Business major preferred
