Merchandising Analyst Intern - 2019 Summer Internship

 

Location – Raleigh, NC

Schedule – 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday // May 27 – Aug. 2, 2019

 

Summary
Provide support to the Merchandising Team by performing essential administrative tasks.  Must demonstrate consistent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

 

General Job Responsibilities
Coordinate the collection and routing of vendor contracts
Submit merchant sku set-up information from vendors
Compile financial and operational reports and other complex documents
Track and report monthly promotional results
Submit all cost/retail price changes to appropriate pricing group
Assist Merchandise Manager as necessary in line review process
Submit merchandise callbacks for stores, DCs and vendors
Coordinate collection of advertising submissions and off-shelf promotions submitted by Merchants, prepare for monthly marketing presentation meetings
Coordinate sample collection for planograms and advertising review
Schedule and arrange vendor meetings with merchandising staff

 


 

Career Requirements

2019 Summer Rising Junior or Senior
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Projects, Outlook and the ability to learn other software programs as required.
