Job Description

Looking for Data Scientist with strong knowledge in Math and 
Statistics to join our Pricing Analytics CoE team. Applicants should 
have Strong fundamental understanding and research experience in 
Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Naïve Bayes / NLP areas like 
statistical analysis, predictive modeling (Regression and 
Classification), data mining / text mining, Segmentation, Time Series 
Forecasting etc. with advanced level proficiency in programming 
language of Python and R.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Understand the Business dynamics and identify potential new business problems that can be solved through Advanced Analytics methodologies 

  • Strong applied knowledge of machine learning in solving business problems with a significantly broad number of algorithms covering the landscape of classification, regression and with in-depth interpretation of outcomes 

  • Independently design the approach, build and test the algorithm mechanism, and implement models 

  • Identify potential data-driven machine learning solutions to improve user experience through personalization and prediction of user preferences.

  • Forecasting of demand drivers using structural time series and Naïve Bayes approach both

  • Build intelligent systems to capture and model the vast amount of behavior data to enrich the content understanding with behavioral information for promotional strategies 

  • Develop new algorithms for predicting or influencing consumer behavior prediction (e.g. next purchase, attrition, spend and ROI optimization etc.) 

Requirements:
Candidates should have 

  • B.E/B.TECH or Masters in Mathematics/Computer Science/Management from a reputed institution with good academic record. 

  • 2-4 years of hands on experience in advance analytics using AI/ML techniques, python/R and visualization skills. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 

  • Positive attitude and dynamism to be at the forefront of team when it comes to taking initiatives, communicating with stakeholders and presenting to the top leadership 

  • Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Bitbucket), visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) will be desirable 

  • Excellent understanding of complex system architecture, components and requirements 

  • Knowledge in deep learning algorithms both supervised and unsupervised 

  • Analytics domain knowledge and experience in Retail/Marketing/Ecommerce will be added advantage.
