SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to provide project support for the Learning & Organizational Development team.  This position will support the team through the management of the core process calendar, management of the budget as well as purchase order processing, event planning as well as coordination and project management for key strategic initiatives.  The incumbent in this role may also be asked to provide logistical support (e.g., PowerPoint development, program materials, answering questions across the organization on key initiatives or process) on key projects.

This role reports into the Sr Director, Learning and Organizational Development and will support a team of six (6) Team Members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Meeting Management

  • Coordinate and arrange key meetings, including agenda preparation, pre-read materials coordination, meeting set up (e.g., onsite facilities, Microsoft Teams, WebEx) and follow up notes and/or action items

Project Management

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders (e.g., HR Business Partners, Communications, Total Rewards, etc) to ensure projects plans are on track and mitigating risk where needed
  • Creating short-term plans based on long-term goals, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Communicating tasks to Team Members and/or teams best positioned to complete them with follow up as needed
  • Serving as a point of contact for L&OD Team when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicating to key stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs change

Best Place to Work Survey

  • Partnering with key internal stakeholders to determine external survey participation for brand recognition and program development
  • Completing the survey process annually for all determined surveys

Calendar Management

  • Manage the maintenance of the department calendar, including core process timelines and project milestones
  • Ensure calendar and key dates is coordinated cross-functionally and aligned with key stakeholders - Total Rewards, Communication, Functional Partners

Ongoing Team Support

  • Creation of program and event materials as assigned
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of engagement events
  • Process purchase orders for the team related to translation and content requests
  • Lead new hire orientation by owning the content and delivery for all CSC new hires
  • Troubleshoot and/or direct questions related to L&OD processes (e.g., performance management, organizational health)

  • Basic understanding of data analysis with the ability to summarize descriptive statistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor Degree in HR or related field. PHR certification preferred

Experience (Minimum needed): 0-3 years HR experience supporting large teams; HR team(s) and/or HR functions or equivalent work experience
