Advance Auto Parts/CARQUEST is currently searching for a Salesforce Administrator to support our CARQUEST Independent Sales Team.  This position manages the day-to-day administration of the Salesforce application, works with business executives and users for changes to configuration, developing new solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business needs and working with consulting partners on larger projects. Provides analytical support to the sales effectiveness team and supports the team in improving sales processes, systems and driving sales force efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•        Advanced knowledge of SFDC and how to leverage declarative development with the tool to fulfill business requirements

•        With some guidance, designs, develops, tests, documents, and deploys quality business solutions based upon business requirements as well as industry best practices

•        Design, configuration and administration including, but not limited to, custom fields, page layouts, formula fields, Salesforce Mobile App configuration, Data Loader, email templates, Process Builder, Visual Flow development, etc

•        Create and maintain clear and concise functional and technical documents, standard operating procedures, diagrams and other support documentation

•        Serves as Product owner role in working with various development teams

Position Requirements:

•        Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation of complex data in easily understood ways and strong data visualization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•        Salesforce Administrator Certification ADM-201

•        Ability to achieve Salesforce Administrator Certification ADM-211 within 12 months of employment with AAP

•        Salesforce Developer Certification DEV-401 optional

Required Experience and Knowledge:

•        Minimum 2-3 years’ experience supporting Salesforce.com

•        Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

•        Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting configuration and customization within Salesforce.com

•        Minimum 2 years’ experience with change/release management within the SFDC application preferred

•        Minimum 1 year of experience with the AppExchange tools

•        Minimum 1 year of Agile Scrum Methodology experience

•        Minimum 1 year of experience with Salesforce1
