SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications serves as a strategic business partner for Human Resources, Supply Chain and a variety of Corporate-related internal communications. 

The role is responsible for developing strategic communication plans and coordinating communication efforts required for the successful rollout of company initiatives, announcements, programs and campaigns. The position interfaces with many cross-functional Team Members, including members of the Executive Leadership team, to ensure messages are clear and actionable, leading to successful execution.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serves as the primary communication support partner for Human Resources, Supply Chain and Customer Support Center-wide communications.
  • Leads a variety of communications to support new programs, initiatives and rollouts across the organizations supported and will serve as a communication expert for the businesses supported.
  • Creates, edits and oversees content for weekly communications used to inform corporate Team Members, including Advance NOW, digital signage at the Corporate Support Centers (CSCs), weekly updates and corporate intranet homepage updates, including news articles and announcements.
  • Advises and assists leadership team members in strategizing, drafting, editing and disseminating communications to Team Members regarding a variety of items, including organizational changes such as VP-level and above hires, promotions, new programs and other critical information.
  • Coordinates quarterly Town Hall meetings, including meeting logistics. Works with senior leaders to develop the agenda, content, presentations and post-event cascade efforts.
  • Develops and implements Human Resources and community engagement communication plans, programs and tools for initiatives and events impacting all Team Members.
  • Prepares and issues critical and time-sensitive communications to the company’s CSC teams.
  • Assists in the management and development of intranet content using WebSphere Content Manager. Ensures intranet content is aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Serves as writer and editor of a variety of company communications, including researching, writing, revising and proofreading articles.
  • Works with Communications team to manage corporate gatekeeping, communications strategies and policies.
  • Establishes, documents and maintains content standards, policies and procedures for Corporate Communications.
  • Designs, administers and analyzes results of internal surveys for business partners.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, required).
  • Experience in communications support for Human Resources, Supply Chain and broad-based internal communications preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing or related field; and minimum of 7-10 years experience in communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience
