This team plays an integral, high-visibility role in working across the company’s Digital, IT and Merchants organizations. 

Advance Auto Parts and Walmart have announced the launch of a partnership to create a specialty auto parts store on Walmart.com. The partnership will bring home delivery and same-day pickup in both Walmart and Advance stores. The venture will sell common auto parts and accessories, including tires, lube and battery services, online and in its 2,500 Walmart Auto Care Centers nationwide.

This comprehensive partnership will enhance the automotive customer shopping experience – from the product offering online to fulfillment capabilities. The partnership will also add new home delivery and same-day pickup for auto parts in both Walmart and Advance stores.

The Sr. Manager Digital Marketing – Advance Walmart partnership will play a key role in driving the success of this partnership.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this role

  • Create a vision for Digital Marketing in the context of the AAP-Walmart partnership and translate that vision into a coherent digital marketing strategy
  • Use multiple channels – Paid Search, Affiliates, Email, Mobile app, CRM, Display and social media, to generate leads and sales
  • Partner with Walmart to drive sales by providing relevant end-to-end experiences and conversion funnels
  • Leverage data and advanced analytics to drive high quality decisions
  • Identify the right digital marketing KPI’s for this partnership and track marketing plans to these KPI’s
  • Build, lead and manage a digital marketing team
  • Update senior management and all relevant stakeholders on key initiatives and outcomes
  • Partner with Walmart and AAP digital marketing teams to drive alignment and synergies
  • Continue to partner with other AAP-Walmart team members to drive alignment on all initiatives related to the partnership

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Engineering, Economics or Statistics
  • 8-10 years overall e-commerce / digital marketing experience
  • 4-5 years hands-on experience in designing and managing digital marketing programs in Paid Search, Affiliates, Display, etc
  • Demonstrable experience in using data and analytics for decision-making
  • Excellent at structured thinking, analytical skills and making data-based decisions
  • Strong technical knowledge of key digital marketing channels and key metrics that drive success in these channels
  • Demonstrated knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
  • Strong team management and communication skills
