Sr. Manager Omnichannel Marketing, Advance-Walmart partnership

Disrupt the way consumers buy auto parts and join a fast-growing e-commerce team to take on the industry’s biggest challengers.  We are charged with executing AAP's top-down commitment to Digital transformation. Our customers are can-do people who like to build, just like us.  Our priorities are all about their satisfaction, trust and loyalty.  The Digital Marketing team is responsible for building solutions that drive customer traffic to both, our online properties and indirectly to our stores. This team plays an integral, high-visibility role in working across the company’s Digital, IT and Merchants organizations. 

Aligned with our omnichannel focus, we are excited about the progress we have made on our recently announced Walmart partnership, which will significantly extend our reach to DIY Customers and help drive market share growth for AAP. We have appointed a senior leader to lead the partnership and we are building a talented team to work together with our Walmart partners to launch and grow this business.  We are off to a strong start with the AAP and Walmart team members working well together and focused on delivering a compelling value proposition for DIYers. We are on track to begin rolling out our plans in the first half of this year. This will include the launch of a broad assortment of our industry leading parts. Customers will be able to have the part shipped to their home in the first phase of the roll out while phase two will enable Buy Online and Pick Up Today in an Advance store. 

The Senior Manager Omnichannel Marketing – Advance Walmart partnership will play a key role in driving the success of this partnership.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this role

  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to create a vision for omnichannel Marketing in the context of the AAP-Walmart partnership
  • Develop and execute a coherent omnichannel marketing strategy that delivers on that vision
  • Reimagine the omnichannel customer journey to leverage the capabilities of Walmart and AAP to provide a frictionless experience that earns high NPS rankings. Collaborate across functions at Walmart and AAP to drive enablement of the journey
  • Drive sales by providing relevant end-to-end experiences and conversion funnels
  • Use multiple channels - PPC, Affiliates, Email, Mobile app, CRM, Display and social media to generate leads and sales
  • Identify the right digital marketing KPI’s for this partnership and track marketing plans to these KPI’s
  • Leverage data and advanced analytics to drive high quality decisions
  • Update senior management and all relevant stakeholders on key initiatives and outcomes
  • Partner with other AAP digital marketing teams to drive alignment and synergies
  • Continue to partner with other AAP-Walmart team members to drive alignment on all initiatives related to the partnership

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Engineering, Economics or Statistics
  • 3-5 years work experience in an Omnichannel Marketing setup, where bricks and clicks were combined to deliver a frictionless customer experience and data and analytics drove decision-making
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent at structured thinking, analytical skills and making data-based decisions
  • Strong technical knowledge of key digital marketing channels and key metrics that drive success in these channels
  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
  • Strong team management and communication skills
