Our Salesforce Team is responsible for building solutions that make it easier for our Professional and DIY customers to do business with AAP.

The Sr. Manager,  Marketing Cloud Salesforce leads a talented development Team that works with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Strategic Vendor Partners, and Leadership to build and enhance our Salesforce solutions. This position will focus on enabling Marketing Automation across the Enterprise by leveraging the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In addition, key SFMC integrations will expose this position to Salesforce’s Sales, Service, Experience, Integration (MuleSoft) and Commerce Clouds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following.  Other duties may be assigned

  • Lead and manage comprehensive marketing automation strategies to achieve the business goals of the company
  • Lead and drive the architecture, roadmap definition and implementation of SFMC and marketing automation initiatives
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and articulate business priorities and strategies, and translate them into enablement roadmaps, initiatives and designs that can be effectively realized within given time, technical and business constraints
  • Lead a development team to build out Marketing solutions that deliver business value
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Advise and engage on the development and delivery of Salesforce features from inception through production implementation
  • Stay up to date on the latest technology trends in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation and stay informed on the latest technology trends in the industry

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expert level of technical competency with Salesforce marketing automation platforms, including both administration and set-up.
  • Ability to understand customer demands and needs, responding with urgency to critical situations, lead management communications and provide collaborative resolutions to problems
  • Ability to achieve results within measurable limits with goals that might not be fully defined
  • Ability to present concepts and ideas to a wide audience; lead critical thinking discussions and develop presentation skills within the team
  • Ability to communicate with business users and technical staff
  • Ability to work in high-expectation situations providing leadership and collaboration to deliver solutions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Management or a related field and 6-10 years of experience as Application Development Manager, Systems Development Manager, or an equivalent level position; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with SFMC
  • 5+ years with marketing automation/campaign management
  • Experience working in a multichannel retail environment (Nice to Have)
  • Consulting and/or agency experience (Nice to Have)

SALESFORCE CERTIFICATIONS

  • Marketing Cloud Adminstrator (Required)
  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (Preferred)
  • Marketing Cloud Consultant (Nice to Have)
  • Marketing Cloud Developer (Nice to Have)
