SUMMARY

This role will report into the Sr. Director of Strategy & Corporate Development and will be responsible for coordinating the strategic planning process, supporting strategy formulation (long term strategic priorities, plans and analysis), and leading competitive and market analysis. The person will work cross-functionally and lead the generation of analytically driven and actionable insights to define strategic direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to and coordinate the mid-long term strategic planning process across the company. Support and help maintain the Strategic Business Plan (SBP).
  • Build, develop and maintain appropriate analysis and tools to assess and monitor competitive landscape, market and industry trends, map potential disruptions, and identify impact to our strategy and SBP.
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive strategy formulation, including driving or supporting business cases development, coordinating internal alignment, performing review and pressure test, evaluating and prioritizing strategic alternatives, etc.
  • Partner with Finance to update the Financial Long-term Plan.
  • Participate in the preparation of Board meetings and executive reviews

  • Strong strategy development & problem-solving skills - ability to structure through rigorous logic how to break down a complex problem into component parts and target analyses to develop compelling recommendation in a timely manner
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, have the business acumen and common sense to check and triangulate output
  • Strong finance acumen; valuation/ financial modeling experiences preferred
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, capacity to handle multiple objectives at a time in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor in Business, Economics, Marketing or Finance.

Min 6 years’ experience in consulting firm and/or corporate strategy.

Proven experience in working with senior leadership

Knowledge of the retail and / or Automotive industry is a plus.
