Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager – Mobile App Marketing, to drive adoption of, engagement with and revenue through the Advance Auto Parts (AAP) mobile app. The candidate should have prior experience in app marketing and demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing. The candidate should also have strong analytical skills and a track record of fact-based decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to establish, implement and measure the effectiveness of mobile app advertising initiatives to drive adoption and engagement of AAP’s mobile app.
  • Drive targeted, multi-channel digital acquisition and engagement campaigns in both paid and owned channels, through partnering with Brand, Email, Digital and Loyalty marketing teams.
  • Oversee and continue to improve tracking, attribution, and overall data access to analyze key metrics including cost to acquire, quality of the traffic by source, and return on investment.
  • Leverage 1st and 3rd party data and Marketing Technology to drive effective targeting.
  • Leverage mobile notifications, deep linking and other capabilities to drive traffic and sales.
  • Build, develop and manage relationships with suppliers, agencies and multiple top mobile ad networks and social networks (e.g. Google, Facebook).
  • Provide complete performance reporting and analysis on all mobile marketing campaigns and take relevant action on insights gained.
  • Develop a rigorous test and learn agenda on developing marketing campaigns and experiences that maximize downloads and app-driven revenue.
  • Partner with the app development and loyalty teams to integrate loyalty levers into the app and app-related advertising
  • Own campaign execution and deliver on timelines, communicating campaign optimizations to internal and external partners, managing expectations with frequent, proactive, delivery of information.

    Required Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Engineering, Economics or Statistics
  • 4+ years of proven relevant work experience in mobile app adoption marketing, mobile marketing, digital marketing, and/or display and search marketing
  • Proven track record of delivering customer acquisition growth and optimization across key metrics
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of KPI’s for online/digital media (both Direct Response and Branding and Awareness)
  • Deep knowledge of app stores and how to market an app in the store
  • Ability to think strategically and identify innovative and creative solutions in a customer-centric omnichannel environment
  • Demonstrated project and resource management skills
