Join the AAP Digital team and start re-imagining the future of automotive retail. Disrupt the way consumers buy auto parts and take on some of the industry’s biggest challengers. We are charged with executing AAP's top-down commitment to digital transformation.

As a Sr. SEO Strategist, you’ll be an integral part of the fastest growing team at Advance Auto Parts. The role requires both analytical prowess, as well as strong communication skills; so, you should be as comfortable manipulating data in Excel as you are explaining the results of your work to colleagues. You’ll be developing solutions to enterprise-scale SEO problems by applying your experience in the search industry, not just reciting industry blog posts about best practices. This role offers you the opportunity to make an impact from day one, as well as significant visibility and growth potential, while tackling some of the largest-scale SEO and content opportunities out there.

This role will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive growth in organic search, ensuring Advance can be found wherever customers are looking for auto parts. You’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest in their respective fields, and make a significant impact on a team that routinely blazes new trails in digital marketing. Expect to learn as much from your colleagues as we do from you.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Perform overall SEO technical analysis and evaluation.

  • Manage and drive implementation of external agencies and vendors’ recommendations as appropriate.

  • Clearly communicate and explain technical SEO recommendations to the business team.

  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance across all major channels (i.e. Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.).

  • Continually perform keyword research, analysis, crawl review, and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain SEO recommendations for XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, meta descriptions, title tags, heading tags and internal link optimization.

  • Develop and execute link building/acquisition strategies and ensure quality results by performing external back link analysis.

  • Create monthly reports based on SEO trend analysis, keyword performance and website performance.

  • Monitor industry trends and new product offerings to stay up to speed and ahead of competition.
