Job Description

The Tools & Equipment Specialist is primarily responsible for training Managers and Sales Reps within their assigned territory on equipment product as well as meeting T & E Territory (NJ, VA, MD and GA) sales quota.

Position Responsibilities:

Working closely with the assigned District Triangle Teams, the T & E Rep will focus on the following areas:

  • Achieving T & E Sales Quota
  • Ensures all District Sales Team Members have sufficient product knowledge -refers more complex sales opportunities to T & E Specialist.
  • Work with the sales team and corporate partners to assist in closing larger more complex T&E sales deals.
  • Train district “teams” on best practices around identifying tool & equipment sales opportunities in the course of customer visits.
  • Works closely with vendor representatives leveraging alliances - resulting in AI sales growth.
  • Identifies and recommends product offerings to Product Team based on customer feedback.
  • Participates in weekly DM calls to ensure alignment with company direction & focus.
  • Collaborate with Norton teams on specific operational and/or product training needs.
  • Drives our Value Proposition constantly reinforcing our T&E and Service Principles. 
  • Works with district leaders to ensure that the AI culture and foundational model is executed in each district.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree or the equivalent education and/or experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible and successful outside sales experience within the T & E Division
  • High level of T&E product knowledge - marketing experience a plus
  • Experience leading others and coaching them to be successful
  • Proven business, analytical and computer skills
  • Solid and proven strategic planning skill set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Car and plane travel to stores, customers and corporate office

Schedule Requirements/Travel:

Weekdays and occasional Saturdays/Approximately 80 - 90% travel within region
