This position will be responsible for the development of new and existing markets through customer visits to new and existing markets. Compiles market intelligence to include future sales leads, current customer potential, and competitor analysis. The job requires travel throughout the country promoting WORLDPAC, and new programs. Responsibilities include the participation and involvement of market blitzes in new and existing markets. Prepares reports of customer visits, market conditions, competitor activities and opportunities for growth. Focus on maximizing targeted customer’s potential. Maintains Territory records and expense accounts. 75% of work schedule is travel away from home office

Essential Duties: (the tasks listed below are not all inclusive, but are major areas of responsibility)
  • Must be willing to travel extensively in local & long distance markets
    • 75% of work schedule is travel away from home office
    • 25% of work is in the field in your local market
  • Must possess excellent English communication skills both written and oral
  • Must be self motivated, capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Must have an extensive background and proven track record in automotive wholesale parts distribution
  • Must be goal oriented and driven to succeed
  • Must be willing to continually strive for personal development of general business skills, product knowledge, sales and communication skills or any other skills required to get and keep customers
  • Must have the ability to adapt positively to a changing environment
  • Must possess analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must have field experience / program presentations in automotive parts sales (minimum 3 years field experience)
  • Must be versed in Excel, Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
  • Must be able to demonstrate, support and solve problems related to speedDIAL, and all marketing programs


Career Requirements


  • AA. BA, BS degree a plus
  • 5 plus years of Import automotive parts knowledge
