Job Description

SUMMARY

The Replenishment Systems Manager is accountable for leading a team of business analysts that ensure our systems are running at optimal levels to support the business KPI’s. This leader collaborates with business teams to ensure alignment between strategic business objectives and replenishment strategies.  This Manager also drives and manages processes, relationships, and working activities with key functional areas such as Market Availability, Visual Merchandising, Transportation, Field Teams, and Distribution Centers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Forecasting/Replenishment

  • Oversees the development of forecast parameters and modifications.
  • Ensures inventory replenishment team inclusion in planning, forecasting and purchasing plans and activities.
  • Drives increased In-stock % and improved Inventory Turn through forecast accuracy improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Oversees development of complex inventory strategies within categories.
  • Participates in the annual inventory budget process ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Achieves budgeted goals and metrics for business categories.
  • Monitors Inventory budgeted metrics, highlighting areas of risk with solution options. 
  • Ensures appropriate compliance standards are implemented at all levels.
  • Evaluates and refines protocols for handling issues and outages, incorporates appropriate tools, monitoring and site metrics.

Supply Chain/IT

  • Identifies and communicates inventory changes to Supply Chain teams. 
  • Works collaboratively to increase Inventory and DC efficiencies.
  • Works with supply chain functional leads and IT counterparts to set objects for technology improvements in alignment with organizational and business unit strategies and objectives.

Communication/Collaboration

  • Proactively and effectively seeks input and feedback from internal and external partners to resolve issues.
  • Effectively shares clear, concise, accurate information that caters to the levels of detail needed by recipients.
  • In follow up to immediate issue resolution, puts into place sustainable systems and process improvements that prevents issue recurrence and improves company results
  • Develops and directs a highly skilled analyst team to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Influences peers, subject matter experts and executives within his/her own organization as well peers, subject matter experts and executives in other organizations including Finance, Merchandising, IT and Supply Chain teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Products Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of supply chain business processes, sourcing, procurement or supplier management experience; ability to see the organization as an integrated whole and understanding how each component contributes to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Basic SQL report writing skills.
  • Experience on WMS & procurement systems, supporting inventory buying or supply chain processes in production including, order creating thru interfacing systems, monitoring and error analysis.
  • Business application support experience.
  • Ability to resolve high profile issues
  • Good judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation skills
  • Understanding of the data processes and information flow within the E3 forecasting and replenishment systems; understanding of E3 modules and supporting software.
  • Solid analytical skills required; ability to develop and communicate findings and recommendations, creating actionable strategies.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely and accurate completion of each; outcome-focused and experienced in project management as a means to plan, track, communicate progress and ensure on time delivery of projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present information and interact effectively across all levels of the organization; ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across functions to achieve business objectives and drive strategic change; proven track record of establishing strong relationships and experience in leading complex cross-functional teams

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Logistics, or Mathematics; and
  • 5-8 years related experience in Inventory Management, including 2-4 years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
