Job Description

Are you looking to join an exciting company?  This is an exciting time to join Advance Auto Parts.  We are investing in our future.  We are transforming the way we do business.  One of those changes is in our Product Information Management (PiM) team.  We are implementing a new instance of Stibo Step 9.2 and redesigning the way PiM works at Advance Auto Parts.

The Product Manager, PiM / Administrator will be highly motivated and bring both the practical experience of implementing solutions in Product Information Management and the flair for developing new ideas. The candidate will align as a PiM Subject Matter Expert (SME).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Own the PiM Product Roadmap
  • Perform all Stibo Step administrative functions
  • Correcting wrong data / exceptions
  • Work closely with the business team on daily workflow issues
  • Configure export configurations for ad-hoc exports / reports
  • Assist business team run bulk updates / configure business rules
  • Trigger / Publish messages on exceptions
  • Support all inbound data, content, and assets
  • Vendor / Supplier Onboarding
  • Supplier Hierarchy Management
  • New user training + training facilitation and tracking
  • Support all outbound data, content and assets – Omnichannel Catalog Advanced, Core Merch
  • Advanced Analytics Support – BI, Other
  • Lead Stibo monthly maintenance patches
  • Lead and own the Stibo Product Roadmap
  • Own and lead major Stibo release upgrades
  • Ownership of the product backlog
  • Leads enhancement delivery process
  • Lead and Liaison between PiM business and other stakeholder groups
  • Ensures alignment with PiM Director on product roadmap
  • Aligns with cross-functional business teams on all programs/projects that may impact Stibo STEP

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced in implementing any leading Product Information Management (PIM) platform with preference in Stibo Step 9.2
  • Experience in MDM strategy assessments & implementation roadmap
  • Have delivered complex MDM strategy assessments, implementation roadmaps
  • Experience in requirements gathering for data dictionary and data model
  • Experience in designing operating model as relevant to Finish Product MDM
  • Project delivery – timeline and milestone management, stakeholder relationship management
  • Previous experience of having independently led and executed large scale, high-impacts MDM consulting projects or solutions
  • Good exposure in Digital Asset Management platform (DAM)
  • Good understanding of Finish Product data domains and MDM/Governance
  • Demonstrated aptitude in finish product data governance activities and best practices
  • Brings in clear understanding on how Finish Product /Material Master Data can impact Supply Chain processes of any company i.e. Linkage of Finish Product Master Data to various Business Processes
  • Expertise in data standards for finished goods such as GS1, GDSN
  • Experienced with Product Data requirements to enable eCommerce / eContent
  • Exposure to tools such as SAP MDG/experience in applicability of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning in Finish Product Master Data domain will be a plus
  • Proven capability to collaborate, conduct, and lead sessions with Business and IT resources
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple sectors
  • Creative thinking / innovative mind set
  • Familiarity in lean management and six sigma methodology desired but not required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required; and
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in PiM, MDM, Data Governance, and Product / Material Master
