For this 10 week paid internship we are looking for interns to specialize in the following areas: Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Strategy, and Supply Chain. The week of welcome kicks off by pairing you with a mentor who will guide your experience as you work on a project tackling some of our top business initiatives.

The internship will end with the opportunity to present solutions to relevant business problems to some of our top executive staff members. Summary

The TechNet Marketing Summer Intern will support TechNet Professional marketing activities around the development of Customer and Member-facing creative assets for social media and omnichannel marketing campaigns. This position will partner closely with the marketing manager and associate manager to engage with cross functional creative, communications, operations, training and professional marketing teams.

General Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Marketing Manager and stakeholders to assist in the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans that meet and exceed strategic objectives; including but not limited to, increasing sales, awareness, brand positioning and customer loyalty, with timely and with accurate distribution.
  • Assist in managing and monitoring social platforms, respond to questions, posts, and drive engagement.
  • Assist in the development and management of integrated campaigns across print and digital marketing and advertising tactics.
  • Assist in the development of internal and external communications, leveraging all communications channels and omnichannel marketing tactics for the TechNet program.
  • Effectively communicate to team members, peers, and business stakeholders
  • Ability to work in highly diversified teams with strong interpersonal and time management skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Interest and coursework in brainstorming, creating, implementing and tracking performance of omnichannel marketing campaigns
  • Highly proficient with MS Office software including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Social Studio a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, must be able to multi-task constantly throughout the work day
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
  • Driven and has a desire to learn. Approaches problems with little guidance and a “figure it out” mentality
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Required Education:

Summer 2021 Rising Junior or Senior actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
