Summary:

The Data Entry Specialist provides support for AAP Warehouses by processing Factory Direct Order Returns information on WORLDPAC computer systems. The Data Entry Specialist responsibilities include processing and submitting Warranty, New, and Core Returns.  Collecting and entering data into computer system, maintaining accurate spreadsheets of valuable company information, working with data entry team and Sales Specialist to keep track of assigned Returns, and maintain positive productivity levels of 400 or more returns processed daily.

The Data Entry Specialist also assists Sales Specialist with their customer’s directly in escalated situations and promotes customer satisfaction resolving the situation in a timely professional manner. In addition, this team member aids the leadership team in various tasks including monitoring assigned FDO Returns and adjusting as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

A successful Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within WORLDPAC systems and providing outstanding customer service to WORLDPAC core customer base.

Essential Functions:

  • Entering returns and account data from source documents within time limits
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate processing.
  • Proficiency in data entry, including speed and accuracy.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.
  • Good written and verbal skills and ability to effectively communicate with Store Operations management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify operational problems, recommend optimum solutions and follow through to resolution.
  • Demonstrated organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma
  • GED
  • Equivalent experience minimum 1 year
