Overview
The Compensation Analyst - Data Management has responsibility for the Compensation team’s external market data and related system administration.   He/she maintains the survey company relationships and life cycle of survey data.  The Analyst also maintains the company job architecture in Workday and supports annual compensation programs.  This is a growth roll with opportunity for a specialty in the Compensation function while also participating in and leading foundational work for the compensation team. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationship with survey vendors and market data system.  Responsible for tracking and ensuring invoices are paid.
  • Participate in compensation surveys, analyze and evaluate survey results.  Work with vendors to ensure surveys are loaded and available for market pricing. 
  • Perform annual market pricing and management of match carry-over, review for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Support Compensation Consultants in finalizing annual market pricing process and refresh of salary structures.
  • Perform reporting from market data system and HRIS; analyze internal and external data. 
  • Serve as system administrator for market database, providing training and communication to compensation team when required.
  • Analyze survey usage and recommend adjustments to annual participation for cost control. 
  • Support the execution of the annual compensation review cycle.
  • Create and maintain the job architecture in Workday; ensure alignment in survey database.
  • Assist with additional compensation projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required 
  • 1-3 years’ experience in HR, Finance, Accounting or related field with experience managing and manipulating data in excel.  Experience in Compensation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required 
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems, Workday experience preferred 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive
