Summary
The Compensation Analyst – Systems & Analytics has primary responsibility for the company’s Compensation data and processes in Workday, including configuration, setup, imports, business processes/workflows and reporting.  The Analyst is also responsible for metrics and analytics for the Compensation team supporting Compensation Consultants, HRM’s and Company leaders. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Key leader for Compensation on Workday initiatives; Acts as subject matter expert in the design, testing, and implementation of the compensation module in Workday.
  • Identify requirements, build and run ad-hoc and regular reports; provide data analytics and track metrics as needed.
  • Perform financial modeling to calculate the current and future financial impact of compensation programs.
  • Lead the administration of the annual compensation cycle process including design, configuration, testing and roll out using Advanced Compensation in Workday.
  • Advise and assist the Compensation team on data transfers to and from Workday, Market Pay and the Commission system.  Partner with HRIS and IT on new interfaces or corrections/adjustments.
  • Partner with Compensation Consultants on maintaining and updating compensation structures; run reports, provide analysis and recommendations for structure updates.
  • Lead large scale compensation projects for system or data improvements.
  • Support and participate in the semi-annual Workday system upgrade process.
  • Actively participate in the Workday Community, training and user groups to ensure awareness of current trends and innovations in Compensation and HCM; Identify opportunities for updates to Workday for compensation programs
  • Train HRM’s and Leaders where relevant on items related to Compensation Systems and the use of Compensation software tools.
  • Provide back up support and counsel to Data Analyst in Market Pay administration and Workday job maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS reporting, data and system maintenance or analytics using Workday.  Some experience in Compensation data administration and/or system maintenance preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills including proficiency with lookups, pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Experience evaluating data, performing analysis and delivering telling information.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with HR and other departments at various levels.
  • Strong project management skills, prioritizing and organizing individual and project workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and proactive
