Advance Auto Parts, a leader in the automotive aftermarket, currently has an opening for a CRM Marketing Analyst.  As a CRM Marketing Analyst at Advance Auto Parts, you will have an opportunity to disrupt a $100B auto parts industry to bring better and faster solutions to customers.  You will be responsible for analyzing omni-channel customer, transactional, and campaign data to understand marketing effectiveness and customer behavior, identifying opportunities to improve the ROI of email and digital marketing initiatives. 

Additionally, this role will report directly to our Director, Marketing Analytics, and will provide expertise to internal Marketing stakeholders.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information from multiple data sources identifying actionable insights that improve email and digital marketing effectiveness and generate revenue. 

  • Implement strategies to leverage 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data sets to target customers with digital advertising across display, search, social, and other digital channels

  • Analyze customer, transaction, and campaign data to identify trends and patterns in marketing campaign performance and/or customer behavior.

  • Conduct digital channel analysis to understand traffic and revenue drivers, both in-store and on-line. 

  • Leverage analytical tools (SQL, SAS, Tableau) and data mining techniques to perform advanced data manipulation and extract insights from large databases.

  • Evaluate trends, patterns, and results to determine business impacts of email and digital activities and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Develop reports and/or presentations that clearly and concisely

  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to key stakeholders. 

  • Support ad hoc analytic need as requested.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of relational databases and experience with data mining. 

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in Digital Marketing and/or as part of a retail environment with complex data relationships. 

  • Experience with any of the following: SQL, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, and/or Unica, must also be proficient in Excel and have strong attention to detail. 

  • Strongly prefer experience with web analytic tools such as Adobe (Omniture), Google Analytics, Core Metrics

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in information management, statistics, economics, engineering, mathematics, marketing analytics or other relevant discipline.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATION

Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline. Experience in analyzing marketing data in the retail environment.
