Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Business and customer analysis to focus and direct marketing planning and funding (prioritizing categories, securing funding, setting direction)
  • Collaborate with Customer Research/Analytics to define and execute projects and metrics that will inform Brand strategy and plans
  • Development of national campaign strategy and creative executions
  • Lead media strategy definition through analysis, leveraging media agency and internal analytics
  • Deliver awareness and equity-building sponsorship and content plan in line with defined Brand strategy
  • Lead creative and media planning, leveraging our agencies and in-house Creative shop
  • Align plans and priorities across Merchant and Field leadership
  • Ensure execution and delivery of all tactical marketing plans
  • Develop high potential talent, ensuring a strong bench, and high levels of engagement. Focus on developing Leadership, Analysis, Marketing technical competency.
  • Lead Brand marketing participation in a variety of corporate project(s) that require Marketing leadership, customer analysis, and plan development

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate will be:

  • A Marketing Master – You start with your target and comfortably stitch together data and deep customer experience to develop breakthrough marketing plans that drive the business. You execute those plans to drive strong sales and improve Brand equities.
  • A Proven Leader: You have built and led teams of senior managers. You have also proven your ability to engage and enroll the right team members of a matrixed organization. You are energized by the prospect of team success. You don’t get deterred from leveraging and enrolling resources that sit in different areas of the organization.
  • A Builder: You have the Marketing pedigree, but it bores you to continue to “rinse and repeat” - thinking and planning within already-proven models. You want to make the model. You want to establish priorities, find the right people across the organization, define processes, create plans, and execute.
  • Digital Savvy – this is your wheelhouse. You have a passion and aptitude for communications in digital channels and you have the discipline and commitment to measure results.  Ideally, you have experience in traditional media and creative development as well.
  • Talent Builder: You develop your team and take pride in their success. You have a track record of building a bench as well as mentoring and coaching within your organization and in the broader community. You ignite people who work with you.

Education and/or experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of consumer Brand/Marketing leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • CPG and/or Retail
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish
