Manages the daily financial activities and functions for an organization including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Ensures all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. Forecasts and manages a cash flow that meets the needs of the company. Provides guidance to managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced. Oversees the budget process and works with managers to produce and manage effective budgets. Acts as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company, engaging with outside consultants if applicable. Education:

Roles and Responsibilities :

This position is for assisting in the budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and other ad hoc analysis related to marketing spend.  Some of the duties may include:

  • Lead monthly Marketing Spend forecast process (programs, professional fees, labor etc.)
  • Lead annual budget and target setting
  • Supply chain costs control (Freight, Supply and Labor)
  • Margin analysis and reporting design
  • Purchase order and requisition process control
  • Finance partner for business leaders, assist in other ad hoc analysis, financial model build-up as needed.

Key abilities and requirements:

  • 5-8 years experiences in finance management role, or other related field; preferred experiences in Marketing and Digital field
  • Skilled at time management, able to consistently meet deadlines
  • Able to drive and lead others including cross function teams
  • Working knowledge of fundamental accounting, attention to detail, strong analytical skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, Oracle ERP, Hyperion, presentation preparation, financial modelling etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or other related field, MBA preferred
