SUMMARY
The FP&A Technical Analyst provides analytics and decision support at a corporate level supporting the executive staff as well as the broader finance community. The Technical Analyst will be on a team responsible for a shared reporting & analytics infrastructure as well as directly providing reporting, analysis, and insight to the executive teams based on that infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be able to leverage a variety of tools & analytical capabilities to support analysis across different functional areas of the business and their impacts to overall company financial performance. The candidate will need to gather/develop the required datasets, apply a variety of techniques to analyze/test business hypotheses, and then summarize back the findings (with clear data/method driven substantiation). This position is in the Corporate Analytics team and has the potential to significantly influence the direction of the company and the financial performance.

Technical Qualifications: Experience with multiple analytical tools and methodologies, as well as the discernment of which to apply in different environments and use cases is necessary.
Ability to define problems, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Exposure to machine learning and AI type concepts is a plus
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of senior management, department heads, and the Finance/IT/Business teams
Attention to quality, reconciliation, and accuracy are critical as the audience is often executive level staff and the decisions being made are significant in scope/impact
Creativity and vision to recommend ways to evolve our infrastructure, process, and analytic capabilities
