Job Description

Fixture Purchasing

  • Place purchasing spends within the assigned annual fixture budget and fixture budget by program type
  • Identify the appropriate item order quantities for replenishment of current fixtures; ensuring purchase quantities, on hand quantities and in bound timing are optimal for maintaining service levels
  • Execute and proactively follow up on the accurate deployment of fixture programs, owning step by step follow ups from vendor to DC to store
  • Provide suggestions and alternatives on cost reduction opportunities (quantity, type, quality, vendor, timing, transportation avenues)
  • Create and provide fixture quantity forecasts to vendors and internal partners
  • Set up new fixture skus in the Fixture Purchasing systems

Fixture Take Offs

  • Place store fixture orders from Vendor to DC and from DC to Store 
  • Maintain accurate and in depth history of fixture costs and replenishment activities
  • Determine fixture purchase needs through Fixture Take Off activities, receipt of information via fixture rollout process, through response store requests and through new store or upgrade activities

Communication & Field Support

  • Respond to and support store team requests for fixtures with timely allocation of replacement fixtures.  Ensure all requests are supported and responded to within SLA timelines
  • Proactively communicate fixture distribution activities and opportunities to Distribution, Transportation, and Store Teams
  • Raise awareness to missed or at risk milestones and propose approach to course correct

Process Improvement

  • Facilitate rollout improvement initiatives with the transportation and distribution teams concerning timing and approaches to fixture distribution
  • Develop reporting tools to improve Fixture Purchasing speed and efficiencies
