SUMMARY
The TSR will evaluate customer needs and are responsible for selling automotive eService products. Export level knowledge in all eService Product offerings, with high level of technical support during a sales call for eService products to our customers. This individual will work collaboratively with the Support Center Leadership Team Members, Professional Sales Team (Corporate and Field) and eServices Product Development Team. TSRs are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, technologically savvy sales professionals. They will support sales trends and retention through proper use of systems through a number of mediums: Ticketing System, E-mail, Web, Web Chat and Outgoing Sales Calls. Ensure Customer satisfaction, retention and meet sales goals within company guidelines and all policies and procedures as it relates to Professional Customers, eServices Sales and Professional Support Business Teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Evaluate customer needs to find “best-fit” eProducts for their business

  • Able to present Full-service demonstrations of eProducts for customer evaluations

  • Effectively communicate with customers about new product features and eServices

  • Perform a high volume of outbound calls to achieve sales targets

  • Ability to manage multiple systems and Process customer enrollment forms

  • Update and maintain current and prospective customer data, including contact information, product information and demographic information

  • Understand Commercial profitability concepts, including knowledge of competition, market opportunities, and customer prioritization (may work with the Commercial Account Manager for specific Professional Customers)

  • Provide feedback and input to business partners regarding competitive information, suggestions, and other services to strengthen the market position of the company

  • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, sales increases, and gross profit percent Ability to review and analyze business reports, such as profit and loss statement (P&L)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to achieve personal and team sales goals and service objectives. Understanding of advanced sales techniques

  • Basic understanding of automotive systems, terms and knowledge of vehicle repairs preferred. Expert usage of eServises Products and support systems, MotoLogic, ALLDATA, Mitchell1, Salesforce/Service Cloud and other pivotal system tools

  • Self-motivated and take initiative.

  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and remain organized

  • Effective communication, listening and problem solving skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify operational problems, recommend optimum solutions and follow through to resolution. 

  • Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)

  • Speak and write English (Spanish/French a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and upper management

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

  • Must set and maintain a professional example while on company business or serving as a representative of Advance Auto Parts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; and 2+ years’ experience in sales environments; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities
