Advance Auto Business Support LLC is seeking a Manager of Finance Reporting & Analytics in its Raleigh, NC location.

Job Description: Partner with the finance leadership to establish the reporting/metrics framework for how we will monitor the financial performance of the company.  Development/leverage of a robust digital platform for monitoring of financial results and key supporting KPIs utilizing tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and other delivery tools.  Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core financial data elements (master data, measure definitions, hierarchies, algorithms, etc).  Responsible for financial data modeling within enterprise query, reporting, and/or analytical tools.  Partnering with the broader finance organization to leverage the existing knowledge base.  Participating in the enterprise-wide underlying platform rebuild aimed at modernization of our analytical and reporting capabilities.  Performing deep and complex analysis to discover underlying business drivers and how to leverage those insights to optimize and impact outcomes.  Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.  Mentoring, coaching, and inspiring the enterprise financial analytics analysts on the team.  Creation of daily, weekly, and monthly informational presentations, scorecards, and/or flashes.  Deliver analysis and findings to leadership and business teams often through formal presentation.  Partner with the leadership team and the broader finance/business community to stay abreast of current business concerns, potential opportunities, and information needs.  Maintain knowledge and stays current of developments in the fields of finance and technology, business intelligence, data warehousing, data science, and emerging technologies.  Contribute to the broader financial/enterprise tools roadmap in partnership with finance/IT leadership.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Business Analytics, Finance, Business, or Accounting or a related technical or finance degree, plus six (6) years of experience in a financial, data analysis, or business analysis related role.  Requires experience in the following: six (6) years of experience with extract and integrate data leveraging technologies such as (SQL, Hive, RedShift, Mongo, etc); six (6) years of experience with develop and automate reporting and analysis, as well as operational process using technologies such as (Python, R, Spark, etc) within hyperscale environments (AWS, Hadoop, etc); six (6) years of experience with visualization, discovery, and analytic apps such as (Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Oracle BI Cloud Service, SAP Business Objects, OBIEE Answers, Oracle SmartView, etc); six (6) years of experience with financial systems such as (Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services, etc); six (6) years of experience with define problems, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; six (6) years of experience with statistical analysis and other advanced mathematical or logical methods; and six (6) years of experience with present information and respond to questions from groups of senior management, department heads, and the Finance/IT/Business teams.  The employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Business Analytics, Finance, Business, or Accounting or a related technical or finance degree, plus four (4) years of experience in a financial, data analysis, or business analysis related role.  Requires experience in the following: four (4) years of experience with extract and integrate data leveraging technologies such as (SQL, Hive, RedShift, Mongo, etc); four (4) years of experience with develop and automate reporting and analysis, as well as operational process using technologies such as (Python, R, Spark, etc) within hyperscale environments (AWS, Hadoop, etc); four (4) years of experience with visualization, discovery, and analytic apps such as (Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Oracle BI Cloud Service, SAP Business Objects, OBIEE Answers, Oracle SmartView, etc); four (4) years of experience with financial systems such as (Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services, etc); four (4) years of experience with define problems, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; four (4) years of experience with statistical analysis and other advanced mathematical or logical methods; and four (4) years of experience with present information and respond to questions from groups of senior management, department heads, and the Finance/IT/Business teams.  Experience may be gained concurrently.
