The primary purpose of this Pricing Analyst role is to ensure correct Pricing & Discount Strategy is implemented across Product and Customers portfolio. Accountabilities include taking Pricing & Discount related decisions, developing Reports, Dashboard & generating pricing insights that help achieve annual goals. The position is a hands-on, action-oriented role which supports building of a world class pricing capability that drives future company performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive Core Pricing Activities:

  • Performs daily pricing tasks which includes taking decisions on Discount across Product and Customer Portfolio
  • Support Sales Team with the Price Related information and queries
  • Hands-on Programming & Visualization skills to develop Pricing Reports, Dashboards
  • Generate Insights and convert insight into Price actions
  • Execute the required processes to ensure Price alignment across system and channels
  • Generate Insights to position right price to the right customer
  • Assists with annual/quarterly price maintenance process
  • Performs semi-complex pricing analysis of customer data, competitive data, and product data to develop recommendations on pricing adjustments
  • Recommends, designs, and implements special pricing programs as needed
  • Communication: Present verbal and written reports that clearly articulates the action required from Sales Team.
  • Relationships: Develop effective relationships with multiple functions within the company (Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, etc.). Promote a collaborative work environment among peers.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant discipline with at least 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage different processes and deal with data,
  • Excel Skills and database skills (Access, SQL) required. Basic coding skills in R Programming.
  • Exposure to data manipulation & visualization packages (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Self-starter with ability to initiate and support projects, perform multiple tasks & results oriented.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple sites & time zones, and ability to develop effective working relationships.
