Product Marketing Intern

Location – Raleigh, NC

Schedule – 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday // May 25– July 31, 2020

For this 10 week paid internship we are looking for interns to specialize in the following areas: Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Strategy, and Supply Chain. The week of welcome kicks off by pairing you with a mentor who will guide your experience as you work on a project tackling some of our top business initiatives.

SUMMARY

The Product Marketing Intern is responsible for the support in execution of product category and brand strategy in all of our marketing initiatives (Print, digital, radio, video, ecommerce, signage etc.). This position partners very closely with the product marketing team to compile information and assets, create intake forms, attend kickoff meetings and learn marketing strategies in retail, professional, digital, ecommerce & social. His or her role will be to support the creation of engaging, informative and innovative product marketing assets that drive our sales strategy.  This individual must have fantastic organizational skills, exhibit great interpersonal effectiveness, collaborate amongst teams and a desire to learn. To be successful, they must be able to prioritize tasks, asset requests, and product initiatives to deliver the best possible, measurable marketing outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Take direction and partner with product marketing team in contributing to projects that support strategies in DIY, DIFM and Digital channels.   

  • Partner with other marketing teams for asset collection and intake form generation. 

  • Contributing to digital, print, radio & social strategy support.

  • Integrate customer analytics and insights into category strategies where necessary.

  • Help produce E-commerce marketing initiatives which include landing page support.

  • Support marketing team by utilizing field team communication platforms.
