Job Description


The Project Specialist uses project management tools, methods and best practices to ensure project goals and objectives are met and project control systems are in place for the entire call center. The Specialist coordinates and executes project management processes and initiatives. The Specialist operates under general management supervision, with a high level of autonomy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in standardization, centralization and evaluation of operational processes and templates for the Customer First Centers of Excellence (CFCOE)
  • Assist with compilation of metrics and consolidated tracking, analysis, and reporting in adherence to defined processes
  • Collaborate with various teams internally and externally to the CFCOE to ensure accurate representation of project-related details, as well as costs in the organizational accounting system and compliance with all policies
  • Provide administrative support to Managers and project leaders; assist with specific project resource scheduling/planning tasks; organize and publish project-related documentation
  • Assist with administration and maintenance of project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, Sway, Flow, etc.)
  • Assist with identification, development, implementation, analysis and reporting of process improvements initiatives
  • Participate / coordinate interaction across functional business areas, as well as with external vendors
  • Assist with development of training materials / fact finding during new projects or system implementation.  Training support may be required in times of resource constraint.
  • Ability to travel, in support of project related initiatives / conferences / meetings

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Series (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Flow, Sway, Planner, Teams, Delve and Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools, methods and best practices
  • Basic understanding of business mathematics and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret common accounting, financial, and legal documents
  • Ability to develop, implement and utilize documentation, knowledge bases, FAQs, and WIKIs in problem resolution
  • Troubleshooting skills; ability to identify probable cause with hard facts and data, investigate resolution, determine root cause, and demonstrate success of solution
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and use strong prioritization skills; ability to work in high-expectation situations providing collaboration to deliver solutions
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions across all levels of the organization; and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers to achieve business objectives


Bachelor's degree in relevant field; and / or 1-3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
