SUMMARY
The Rewards Administrator provides support to the Rewards Department, with emphasis on benefit programs coordination and communication, including data maintenance, administration, and vendor coordination related to health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform reconciliation and payment processing to benefit vendors; handle reconciliation of key benefits after each payroll cycle and generate self-billed reports/payment after each period.

  • Serve as primary administrator of the 401K and Deferred Compensation Plan, coordinating all recordkeeping and enrollment projects.

  • Serve as point of contact for Medicare secondary payor claims.

  • Provide ongoing support for benefit questions and programs.

  • Provide specialized support for programs including vendor contract administration, plan document maintenance, communication material coordination (e.g., open enrollment).

  • Coordinate Voluntary Benefits processing/support.

  • Provide primary project support for all corporate wellness events (e.g., health fairs) and implementation of new programs; processes payroll files for wellness plan incentives.

  • Provide ongoing ad-hoc and basic analytical support to the Rewards Team and the department’s customers.

Provide support for wellness and benefits - related tasks such as:

  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Providing support for the annual open enrollment process; assist with cost and budget analysis, communications, vendor selection.

  • Support benefits and wellness policies to improve and ensure that programs are current and competitive.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office user with demonstrated experience organizing and coordinating project information using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint software. 

  • Microsoft Access skills and/or training preferred.

  • Proven skills related to analysis of complex and detailed data. 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Bilingual preferred - Spanish.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred); or

2-3 related experience and/or training; or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
