The focus here is on our customers -- how we make them happy, earn their trust and create loyalty.  The Digital development team is responsible for rapidly developing and deploying solutions that will drive the customer experience and, ultimately, enhance our bottom line as an organization.  This team plays an integral, high-visibility role in working across the company’s Marketing, Digital, and IT organizations.

As our Salesforce Technical Architect you will manage the day-to-day technical administration of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud application, including requirements gathering, solution design, blueprinting and delivery of the solution and technology to meet the needs of the business.  Additionally, this role will work closely with the business executives and users for changes to better understand the needs business and how the SalesForce platform can solution to fit those needs.  Lastly, this role will also work with consulting partners on larger projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of SF Marketing Cloud and how to leverage the tool to fulfill business requirements; including specific expertise in Automation Studio, Audience Builder custom dimensions, and Predictive Intelligence modules.

  • Leads the development of the Program Technical Roadmap, specific requirements gathering, solution design, blueprinting and technical deliver of solutions and technologies based business needs and industry best practices. 

  • Leads QA and data integration within Marketing Cloud.  This will entail working with external partners.  Will also include design and configuration of Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud for Professional email. 

  • Design, configuration and administration including, but not limited to, custom fields, page layouts, formula fields, email templates
  • Create and maintain clear and concise functional and technical documents, standard operating procedures, diagrams and other support documentation

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Gather and document functional and technical requirement documents, including data flows, process documents and other support documentation.

  • Create and update solution blueprint documentation

  • Build, test and delivery the technical solution identified in the requirements and blueprint.

  • Enhance overall solution design, data analysis, workflow and reporting

  • Build defined custom integrations between Exact Target Services and other applications (if required).

  • Develop custom features and other capabilities with Exact Target Services and execute other technical projects as needed to align with Program Technical Roadmap.

  • Execute advanced template coding and configuration

  • Execute email and mircrosite scripting via AMPscript

  • Analyze workflows and provide recommendations for efficiency

  • Architect and develop automated campaigns

  • Complete ad-hoc technical development and recommendations

  • Modify automated email logic

  • Provide API consultation as well as the ability to code API changes

  • Segment audiences for ongoing campaigns

  • Provide advisory guidance on support issues


 

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Licenses and Certifications
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification ADM-201 (or ADM-211)

  • Salesforce Developer Certification DEV-401 (or DEV-501)


Minimum Required Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud/Exact Target configuration and customization preferred

  • At least 3 years of experience with change / release management within the SFDC application preferred


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of coding experience in JavaScript and AMPscripting

  • 2+ years of API coding and consultation

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification ADM-201 (or ADM-211)

  • Salesforce Developer Certification DEV-401 (or DEV-501)
