This person is:

Someone who can identify the current SEM landscape, where we stand within that landscape, how to change it, and then measure the impact.

Someone who can recognize keywords a customer is searching and understand the complete customer journey from search to conversion.

Someone who is comfortable writing, optimizing, and executing hundreds of thousands of ads.

Someone who is hard working but can have fun, too.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize compelling ad copy for a variety of products to drive performance and enhance SEM, branding, and positioning
  • Write, optimize, and execute SEM ads for a variety brands, products, product categories, and local markets
  • Develop eye-catching headlines and ad copy resulting in higher rates of engagement level of content marketing and SEO knowledge, including current trends, best practices, methods, and processes
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and development of paid keyword strategies for search campaigns
  • Achieve tight project deadlines

Skills:

  • Experience with Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and editor tools
  • Sharp attention to detail for grammar, spelling, and punctuation and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Experience with Google Analytics and SEO-rich copywriting, blogging, editing, content strategy, advertising, and branding
  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of current SEO and SEM algorithm trends and changes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality with adherence to brand guidelines
  • Google Certifications preferred
  • UX knowledge preferred
  • Automotive experience/knowledge preferred
  • 3+ years of copywriting and digital marketing preferred
