About the department:

IT Finance team plays a critical role in supporting the transformation of the company.  With various Information Technology projects in progress and in the plan for upcoming years, this role plays a key role in helping the business execute to plan by providing key insights to the financial results and developing financial projections for various projects.  Role is located in Raleigh corporate office and involves interaction with various leaders within Finance, IT, and other functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop by period financial forecasts and plans
  • Partner with project owners with financial reviews of actuals, forecast, and plan
  • Coordinate with project teams, provide analytical support for forward-looking financial and business-related projects
  • Assist management with ad hoc analysis and preparation of reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with project teams and finance counterparts to develop project business case and support throughout project approval process 
  • Assist in development of financial and operational processes
  • Improve reports and develop solutions for improved data insight
  • Other ad hoc requests


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related filed   
  • Advanced degree or certification a plus


  • Developing financial forecasts/budgets, working with capital project analysis, analyzing financial results
  • Working with cross functional teams, project managers, accounting, and business leaders
  • General accounting or capital accounting experience not required, but helps
  • Managing financials of Information Technology projects, not required, but helps 

Key requirements:

  • Working knowledge of foundational accounting
  • Well organized, deadline driven, with strong time management & prioritization skills
  • Able to work with multiple projects and communicate clearly
  • Able to adapt to change, work with little supervision, and solve problems
  • Manage large volumes of data efficiently.  

Skills required:

  • Proficient Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint user with experience with v-lookups, pivot tables, moderately complex formulas, presentation preparation, etc.
