Job Description

The Sr Manager, Organizational Development for Organization Capability manages the policies, procedures and training programs for broad skill development in alignment with Advance’s strategic business priorities.  This role will be responsible for developing and leading the organization capability strategy that drives business priorities while aligning with our Cultural Beliefs and Values.  This includes, but not limited to the following – Cultural Beliefs, Organizational Health, Organization Design and general skill development.  This role will partner with leaders across the organization to accomplish these goals.

The incumbent for this role should be a thought leader accustomed to working in a fast-paced, high-growth company. This role will report to the Sr Director, Organizational Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to develop training programs that enhance the knowledge and capability Team Members at all levels of the organization, including cross-functional skill training
  • Develop an organizational design process and protocol for the organization.  Work with HR Business Partners to deploy and develop organization designs that deliver the goals of the business while sustaining current productivity goals
  • Plan and manage the annual organizational health survey, including quarterly pulse survey.  Develop report and share results across the organization, including to our Executive Committee
  • Develop tools and processes to building the organizational capability, including current and new capability development
  • Lead the development and deployment of functional career paths, including a cross-functional critical experiences road map
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team in developing training curriculum and support materials for the Intern Program, including intern onboarding, development and career pathing

  • Participates in professional networks and/or stay up to date on current research to ensure awareness of social, economic, and regulatory trends that may affect the business and future talent strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree and 8+ year’s progressive experience in Human Resources, with 2+ years of experience in organizational design and development
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience working in a Fortune 300 organization preferred
  • WorkDay experience highly desirable
