Job Description

SUMMARY

This role will report into the Strategy & Corporate Development team and will be responsible for leading data analytics, modeling, and business valuation to support both organic and inorganic strategic initiatives, and building internal deals capabilities through developing knowledge center of market transactions and insights, building and refining deal tools, and driving/supporting deal execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analytics / Modeling / Valuation:
    • Bring data analysis and modeling best practice to the team
    • Lead financial modeling and valuation for both organic and inorganic initiatives
    • Build and maintain appropriate analysis and tools to support corporate strategy (e.g. market sizing model, competitive analytics)
  • Deals:
    • Develop knowledge center of market transactions and insights
    • Support the development of deal transaction process, tools & playbooks and refine as needed
    • Drive/Support deal execution end to end in various forms (strategic partnership, licensing, M&A, etc.)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Exceptional hands on data analytics and Excel modeling skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in business valuation and financial modeling
  • Prior deal experience (strategic partnership, licensing, M&A, etc.) preferred
  • Business acumen to check and triangulate output from complex data analysis
  • Strong capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts
  • Positive, flexible and team-oriented approach; Accountability and result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and ensure high quality, executive-level deliverables under all circumstances
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications
  • Prior experience with Capital IQ and Bloomberg strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of retail and / or Automotive industry is a plus

EDUCATION

Bachelor in Business, Economics, Finance, or other relevant fields
