Job Profile Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of development, successful implementation, and analysis of assigned projects.  This role plans, directs, and coordinates medium to large cross-functional project activities to ensure that project goals are accomplished on time and within budget by performing the following duties personally or through project resources.  This Senior Project Manager should also have a high level of Change Management expertise.

This role reports to the VP of Strategy & Transformation of Execution, and will partner heavily with others in the Strategy & Transformation team and key stakeholders across the organization, at all levels.

Job Description

  • Communicate the project strategy throughout the organization for approval/buy in.
  • Lead all phases of project delivery by developing, planning, organizing, communicating, implementing, and documenting projects.
  • Effectively engage, lead, and influence key stakeholders, strategic project teams, cross-functional partners, and business leaders through all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Create and/or utilize tools and processes to manage project resources and deliverables and ensure the projects successfully deliver against objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, status, financials, risks, and dependencies.
  • Prepare project status reports and associated analysis to keep leadership, stakeholders and others informed of project status and related issues on a recurring basis.
  • Have Change Management expertise such as building change tools, influencing key stakeholders, providing consultative advice, and coaching project teams on utilizing change methodologies.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple initiatives with differing levels of complexity while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, influence, decision making, and development/planning skills.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience with strategy and execution, enterprise-wide/cross-functional/matrixed experience and portfolio/project management.
  • Ability to develop and present content effectively to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated track record partnering with business leads to deliver projects to expectations using PM tools and a documented, methodical approach to managing projects.
  • Advanced skill in MS Office Professional Series (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, risk management, and people management.
  • Experience directly related to the duties/responsibilities specified.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 + years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory responsibility - This position directly or indirectly leads a project team.
  • Certifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
