The Supply Chain Product Owner will ensure the organization technology focus supports the enablement of the End to End Supply Chain design.  This person will own the entire life cycle of the supply chain technology products in the Agile methodology to ensure capabilities delivered meet end user needs.  This person will operate at the intersection of business, technology, and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Serve as the primary supply chain technology product owner and IT liaison to enable the future state End to End Supply Chain design. 

Maximize business value in both the short term and the long term from the technology products related to the future supply chain.

Ensure technology capabilities are delivered on time to support business objectives (revenue and OI).

Engage with all levels of the organization (Executives, Field Leaders, etc) to align with the business strategies and market based objectives.

Act as the voice of the customer within the broad, cross-banner supply chain to ensure technology capabilities meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers. 

Provide input to the technology roadmap to build customer centric capabilities in a sequence that enables progressive elaboration of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). 

Create standard, repeatable processes to enable capability acceleration in the future.

Anticipate and solve problems related to tactical, day-to-day project issues.

Ability to uncover, manage and resolve project interdependencies.

Work with cross-functional/organizational teams to drive desired results.

Keep abreast of emerging technologies that can drive value in the cross-banner supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of supply chain technologies.   

Ability to effectively organize team members to execute to project objectives.

Very organized and detail orientated.

Strong leadership skills including the ability to communicate effectively cross functionally with both exempt and non-exempt team members.

Excellent organizational skills.

Solid written and oral communication skills. 

Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Supply Chain.  Master’s Degree preferred.

5-10 years of related supply chain experience

Direct experience managing large and complex programs or projects.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None immediately, but in future, could manage additional project team members or contractors.

Direct cross functional teams and influence business teams to achieve project objectives. 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Six Sigma Black Belt a plus
