Summary

The TECHNET Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Program Manager and is responsible for coordinating and assisting with marketing initiatives and activities for TECHNET.  This role also supports the administrative efforts of the TECHNET program.  These tasks include, but are not limited to, promotional efforts, website copy, customer and field communications, and project workflow to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and quality. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and coordinate communications internally and externally, leveraging all communications channels for the TECHNET program.
  • Support technetprofessional.com website with creation of content as necessary.
  • Monitor program website, respond to questions, social posts, and drive engagement.
  • Work with the Program Manager, Product Marketing, Merchandising Team and Vendors to develop and execute marketing and promotional plans designed to meet the corporate objectives; including, but not limited to, increasing sales, awareness, brand positioning and customer loyalty, timely and with accurate distribution.
  • Work with TECHNET manager team to establish strategic advertising and promotional programs that support the objectives of the Company through the customer facing websites, customer facing emails, social media platforms and more.
  • Coordinate the trade show materials and schedule for the team.
  • Work with TECHNET manager to develop the tools the field needs to properly communicate information on program elements to their customers.
  • Support Carquest Canada team members with information and materials as needed for the program. 
  • Support the administrative needs of TECHNET.
  • Be the second line of support for Members as needed.

  • Highly proficient with MS Office software including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, must be able to multi-task constantly throughout the work day
  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate and influence at various levels within the organization

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Four year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
